# Creating the First Merchant

A merchant is an account for a project (store, service, bot) within your account. To start accepting payments, you must create and set up at least one merchant.

#### **Procedure:**

1. Log in to your personal account.
2. Click the **New** **merchant** button on the main screen.

A setup form for the new project will open.

Fill in the project details to undergo compliance review.

#### Field descriptions:

* **Name**: Specify the project name (e.g., store name).
* **Type**: Select the integration type:
  * **Web**: For websites and landing pages.
  * **Telegram** **bot**: For stores inside Telegram.
* **Website** **URL**: Provide the full link to the resource (e.g., [https://myshop.com](https://myshop.com/) or t.me/my\_bot). The resource must be active.
* **Description**: Briefly describe the project's activities (type of goods or services).

#### Submission for review:

1. After filling in the fields, click the Submit for review button.
2. The merchant's status will change to Pending.
3. Await the completion of the review by the compliance department.
4. Once approved, the status will change to Approved, and payment acceptance will become available.
